We are heartsick over the horrific and senseless mass shooting in Las Vegas last night. We express our deep sorrow and offer our most sincere sympathy to all those who were in any way affected by this evil act. We add our prayers to the millions of others rising upward on behalf of the victims of this tragedy, and we encourage all of us to act in compassionate, productive ways and to give generously of our time and resources to help each other heal in whatever ways we can, specifically by donating much needed blood. It is our great hope that as a nation we can move forward toward a safer and kindlier existence for all.
